VEHICLE ACCELERATES ON ITS OWN AND TRIES TO MAINTAIN A CONSTANT SPEED WHILE THE DRIVER IS TRYING TO SLOW OR STOP THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES, AND AFTER TRYING TO REPROGRAM THE VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE SEVERAL TIMES, THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTED. DEALER DETERMINED THAT THERE MUST BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THE VCM. *AK *ML
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH ANOTHER VEHICLE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE. CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE ABS SYSTEM LOCKED UP, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO HIT THE OTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY, AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS BENT. *AK
