WHILE DRIVING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD COME ON THEIR OWN, AND WHEN THE CONSUMER TURNED THEM OFF, THEY CONTINUED TO COME RIGHT ON. DRIVING AT NIGHT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME RIGHT ON AS THE CONSUMER STARTS TO DRIVE. CONTACTED DEALER, CAN'T DETERIMINE THE PROBLEM. *AK
WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED WHILE VEHICLE TRAVELING AT 70 MPH DURING RAIN STORM. GM CURRENTLY HAS RECALL FOR 1994-1996 VEHICLES FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM (CAMPAIGN #98043). GM SAYS THAT MY VIN IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST THEREFORE WILL NOT REIMBURSE FOR REPAIR CHARGES. GETTING MY VIN ON THE RECALL LIST WILL FORCE GM TO REIMBURSE.
