16 reportsWHILE STOPPED IN MY 1995 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 4 WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP (SHORT BED, STEP SIDE) I WAS RE-ENDED BY AN SUV (PATHFINDER) DOING APPROXIMATELY 45MPH. THE TRUCK BED CRASHED INTO THE CAB AND AND DENTED IT. THE DRIVER SEAT BROKE, FRAME BENT, ETC. THE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY.
AT A 25MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH, AND AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CAUSE UNKNOWN. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH STEERING WENT OUT. CONSUMER COULD TURN STEERING WHEEL, BUT VEHICLE KEPT STRAIGHT INTO A POLE. *AK THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY DURINGTHE ACCIDENT, AND THE CONSUMER WAS INJURED. *YH

WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH ANOTHER VEHICLE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE. CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE ABS SYSTEM LOCKED UP, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO HIT THE OTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY, AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS BENT. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH AND WHEN TRYING TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT, CONSUMER SMASHED VEHICLE INTO A UTILITY POLE, AND AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, RESULTING IN INJURIES. *AK
CONSUMER EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS WITH DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. DURING A HEAD-ON COLLISION IN WHICH THE OTHER DRIVER WAS GOING 65 MPH, AIRBAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE MANUFACTURER HAS YET TO BE CONTACTED. *AK
