Lafayette PowerSports is not ordering my recall part. Been since April 22nd that I first contacted them about it. A month and a half later, I went in person, and they never ordered it. They said they'll order it and should be here by 4 days. Waited a week, called them, rep told me they can't check and have to wait for the manage…

Lafayette PowerSports is not ordering my recall part. Been since April 22nd that I first contacted them about it. A month and a half later, I went in person, and they never ordered it. They said they'll order it and should be here by 4 days. Waited a week, called them, rep told me they can't check and have to wait for the manager to get back and they'll call me. It's been a week later and still nothing. This is a recall part that can fall into my forks and effect my steering. Pretty serious and they're not taking it serious

CFMOTO POWERSPORTS, INC. (CFMOTO) is recalling certain 2023 450SS motorcycles. The telematics box (T-box) may fall onto the front steering forks, which can cause a loss of steering control.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the T-Box holder, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact CFMOTO customer service at 1-763-398-2690. CFMOTO's number for this recall is SAF-2024-01.
