CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN APPLIED BRAKES, THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO MOVE. *AK DEALER REPLACED CALIPERS AND MASTER CYLINDER. *SLC
ABS VALVE BLOCK/PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE FAILED CAUSING VEHICLE TO PULL WHEN BRAKING HARD.
DURING HARD STOPS THE ABS SYSTEM SWERVES SHARPLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY.
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISON WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE BACKED INTO VEHICLE. AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK *SLC
AIR CONDITIONING MALFUNCTIONED DUE TO A FAULTY COMPRESSOR. *AK
WHEN APPLYING THE ABS BRAKES WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE STILL ENGAGED, THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKES FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. *AK
THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED, CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.
INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED IN ANY KIND OF TRAFFIC THE VEHICLE WILL JUST SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP AT LEAST (6 OR MORE TIMES) EVERY YEAR SINCE 1992. DEALER CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM. *AK

THE UPPER TRANSAXLE OIL COOLER HOSE CAN PULL OUT OF THE CRIMPED COUPLING AT THE TRANSAXLE END OF THE LINE ASSEMBLY.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF SEPARATION OF THE COUPLING, AN OIL LEAK CAN OCCUR WHICH, WHEN EXPOSED TO AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW UPPER TRANSAXLE OIL COOLER LINE TO THE TRANSAXLE.
