TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 BMW K1100LT (N/A). THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN TRAVELING AT ANY SPEED, THE MOTORCYCLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE MOTORCYCLE SEVERAL TIMES. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUPPORT PLATES, HOSE, PROTECTION CAP, PETROLEUM GAGE, STRAINER, IGNITION LIGHT SWITCH AND THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT TWICE THE DEALER REPAIRED THE MOTORCYCLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. UPDATED 8/28/14*CN UPDATED 11/26/2014 *JS THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER ACCELERATING FROM A GREEN LIGHT THE VEHICLE SHUTS DOWN.
