I WAS DRIVING ON A PARKWAY AND MOVED INTO THE LEFT LANE TO PASS AND WHEN I ACCELERATED, THE GAS PEDAL STUCK AND WOULD NOT RELEASE. THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE -- I BRAKED TO SLOW DOWN HOWEVER, THE GAS PEDAL WAS STILL STUCK. AFTER TAPPING ON THE GAS PEDAL FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS, IT FINALLY RELEASED. *TR

AFTER REACHING AN APPROPRIATE SPEED ON A HIGHWAY, I EASED OFF THE GAS PEDAL BUT THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. I REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE GAS PEDAL ENTIRELY BUT THE PEDAL STAYED DOWN. I SHIFTED THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL, TURNED ON MY HAZARDS AND PULLED OVER TO THE BREAKDOWN LANE. I GOT OUT OF MY CAR AND CHECKED THE STILL DEPRESSED PEDAL TO SEE IF ANYTHING WAS OBSTRUCTING IT AND THERE WAS NOTHING. I PULLED THE PEDAL UP AND THE ENGINE STOPPED REVVING. *TR

ACCELERATOR PEDAL STUCK AT WIDE OPEN THROTTLE. HAD TO SHUT THE IGNITION OFF AND PULL OVER AND RESTART THE CAR AND IT WENT BACK TO NORMAL. GOOGLED THE NET AND FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME PROBLEM. *KB

THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL GOT STUCK TO THE FLOOR AND THE CAR, A 2008 AUDI A4, BEGAN TO ACCELERATE. I MANAGED TO BRAKE AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. I MANUALLY HAD TO PULL THE GAS PEDAL OFF OF THE FLOOR. I AUTOMATICALLY WENT TO THE AUDI DEALERSHIP FOR ANSWERS. *TR
