WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE TRAILER WOULD SWAY BACK AND FORTH, PUSHING THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE FORWARD. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT AND REAR AXLES WERE CAUSING PREMATURE WEAR TO THE TIRES. …

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 MIDDLEBURY FOURTEEN BY SEVEN ENCLOSED TRAILER WITH TANDEM AXLE (UNKNOWN MODEL PER CONTACT). WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE TRAILER WOULD SWAY BACK AND FORTH, PUSHING THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE FORWARD. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT AND REAR AXLES WERE CAUSING PREMATURE WEAR TO THE TIRES. THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR TIRE CORDS WERE ALSO EXPOSED AND CAUSED A BLOW OUT. AS A RESULT OF THE BLOW OUT, THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED A BENT FENDER AND BROKEN BRAKE LINES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FRONT AXLE WAS DEFECTIVE AND WAS ONE-HALF INCH OUT OF SQUARE. THE REAR AXLE WAS ONE FULL INCH OUT OF SQUARE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 6,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
